With the Hong Kong Standard Chartered Marathon now behind me, I’ve been thinking about which marathon to run next. I’m likely to do the Macau Marathon again in December. However, more and more runners in Hong Kong are considering Xiamen International Marathon, which is a much more scenic course than the Hong Kong or Macau marathon. It is set in beautiful landscape, a little like the China Coast Marathon, but much flatter and faster. As this is held in January, I still have time to figure out whether I want to be in it.
